Dress and Accessories

Today I sewed all morning.

I made a headband.

A dress for one of those art things that pose for pictures

And a purse for it.

It is struting its way down the blue carpet.

It does not know that the red carpet is better than the blue carpet. ;)

Uncle Dave's Birthday

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNCLE DAVE!!!!!!!

Yesterday I went to my cousin Chaela's house for her dad's birthday. I had soooo much fun!

The picture for the blog title is a floating candle in colored water. My auntie had the idea. It looked so cool.

This is my gramma, Jack and Chaela.


And this is the birthday guy!
These are the two dogs: Belle and Aiva.
And this is my mom,my auntie,my gramma and my grampa.
Chaela, Jack and I started the visit with a game of basketball.

Then my dad joined the fun.
Chaela took one shot standing on the roof.....it almost went in.
We ended the night with the Happy Birthday song.

Beach Day

Today my mom, Jack and I went to the beach with one of my friends. We had a great time.

Jack found a dollar floating in the water and got to keep it.

I found a spotted rock and a tiny shell. I think I will make a necklace out of the shell. In the last picture there is a tiny black spot on it. That is a hole in it.

We also had a great time in the ocean too. The waves were big enough to get out your boogie board and ride them onto shore.

Grilled Pizza And Sewing Machine Cover

Yesterday we had the grilled pizza. It was to die for.
This was how it started on the grill.
And that is how it ended up after cooking it.After 15 minutes this is how it ended up............

One pizza was cheese (for Jack and I).And one was a veggie pizza (for the adults). They said it tasted great...but I think they were just trying to make us try the pizza.

Today I made a cover for my sewing machine. I think it is a cool fabric.

Recycled Fabric Bean Bags

Today I made recycled bean bags. One for Jack and one for me.

To make it, cut out two squares of cotton fabric and sew three sides of it. Do not turn inside out to stuff it. I think it looks cooler when you can see the seam.
Get scraps of fabric and leftover pieces of thread to stuff it.

Stuff half of the bean bag.

The, sew the other side of it. Then.......TA DA!!!!

Now your brother can play with it (just like mine did).
That is why I made Jack one. So I could have mine back.



I finally figured out what to do with the pocket on my Hip Handbag I made yesterday.









Tonight we are having grilled pizza. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! I will take pictures and post them tomorrow. What is your favorite kind of pizza? Vote now with the poll on the right below the title picture for my blog. I want to know your favorite!!!!

Hip Handbag

Today I finished a sewing project from yesterday. I named it Hip Handbag. It has blue and green beads on the bottom.

It also has a pocket in the front.
And it matches my outfit too!!!!!
I love my new Hip Handbag. I'll show you how to make it in another post soon.

Blueberry Picking

Today I also went blueberry picking with my dad, my brother Jack and I. We hit the jackpot!!This is Jack holding some blueberries. Even though Jack and I don't like blueberries, we still have fun picking them.We still don't know what to do with all the blueberries we picked!!!
